Lunar Eclipse Full Moon – Soundbath & Cacao Mini Retreat

Held on the day of the total lunar eclipse and the Full ‘Frost’ Moon in Taurus itself, come join us once again as we gather in circle for another soulful mini retreat to nurture mind, body & soul, and delight the senses (which Taurus rules). A full moon is a time to release anything that no longer serves you; a time to cleanse and reflect. The addition of a lunar eclipse means it increases the potency by 100x times, which is truly worth harnessing.

Enjoy a deeply nourishing mediation, soundbath, cacao blessing and more as we honour the moon in her Venusian glory on this last magical eclipse of the year. The evening will end with gluten free cakes, fresh mint or warming ginger tea, and a chance to reflect or connect with your sound bath buddies in a beautiful, cosy, candlelit setting. WHAT IS A CACAO BLESSING

WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?

Sound baths have been described as a ‘sonic massage’, where you literally bathe in the healing and soothing vibrations of Crystal Singing Bowls (aligned to each Chakra) the powerful gong ‘Kali’ and an array of percussion instruments all designed to take you on a cosmic and underwater journey.

Sound healing is not new, it has been used for thousands of years by our most ancient and wisest ancestors such as the Egyptians, Ancient Greeks and Native Americans. Just like our ancestors, we successfully use sound healing today on all manner of ailments – from migraines, insomnia, mental and emotional imbalances, stress, anxiety, digestive issues and many other medical conditions.

It has been found that the frequencies and vibrations of sound baths slow our brainwaves down to alpha and theta waves which is where deep restorative healing (even to DNA level) can occur. This is known as altered states of consciousness, and you can come away from a sound bath knowing you have not only given yourself some time to deeply relax, but you are being healed at a cellular level at the same time <3

CONSIDERATIONS:

Contra-indications: This session is not suitable for anyone with heart conditions (pacemaker), epilepsy or first trimester of pregnancy.

What to bring: mat, cushions (for head and under knees) and water bottle. Wear something comfortable and in layers to adjust if too hot or cold, a light blanket or wrap if you wish.
