So what even is self-love (you might ask)…?
Well for me, self love is self acceptance; it is setting boundaries, asking for what you need, being honest and authentic, not abandoning yourself when the going gets tough. It’s nurturing your inner child with play and creativity.. allowing yourself to feel sensual, wild, free; cultivating inner wisdom and listening to your heart.
Without a deep foundation of self-love, we will continually find ourselves looking outwards for the happiness that can only be found within. If you find yourself comparing yourself to others, feeling guilt, shame, and self-judgement then you’re not alone. It seems very few of us escape these feelings our society (and social media especially) has conditioned us to take on, and it takes conscious awareness and practice to ‘unlearn’ these habits, beliefs and judgements.
In this nurturing space of love and acceptance, we will provide a sacred environment for you to explore ‘your’ feelings and beliefs about self love. With practices that allow for self-reflection, opportunities to share with others (if you wish), and time to just ‘be’, you will experience a deep relaxation of your soul that only being in ceremony with like-minded others can offer.
The use of Cacao (the sacred and traditional medicine of love) and the powerful healing vibrations of the Sound Bath will also help you connect more deeply to yourself and you’ll leave feeling deeply nurtured, nourished and more at peace.

As with all of our ‘made with love’ events, the evening will end with gluten free cakes, hot herbal teas, and a chance to talk and connect with your sound bath buddies in a candlelit, snuggly, ‘adult sleepover’ style fashion 😉💓
